Prior Review of a Land Transfer
Description Before adjoining property owners modify the location of a common lot line (as allowed by state law), the proposal must be reviewed by staff to make sure both of the parcels comply with all zoning standards.
 
Decisionmaker Zoning administrator
 
Basis of decision In determining whether to grant approval, the zoning administrator needs to ensure both of the lots, and any existing improvements on the lots, comply  with all applicable zoning standards, including lot size, lot frontage, building setbacks, number of buildings, and floor area.

Appeals The Zoning Administrator's decision can be appealed to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
